This years Giving Charity to Charities assembly was another amazing philanthropic event for Norwalk High School.

The event began with a meet and greet at inside the school library with our student representatives meeting with each of the Charity representatives. Everyone then moved to the school quad area for the assembly and check presentations. Over 500 students volunteered for this years event.

Since 2013 Norwalk students have raised over $180,000 dollars for over 175 charities. This year our students have raised over $15,000 dollars for 30 charities. Our students raised the money by designing Giving Charity to Charities sweatshirts and selling them to the community. The sweatshirts are unique and have all the charities on the back of the sweatshirts. There was also a special donation of $2,500 dollars to 2023 CNN Hero Estefania Rebellon and her Yes We Can World Foundation. Some of the other charities receiving checks include Make A Wish, Habitat for Humanity and the National Kidney Foundation. In all, there were over 20 charity representatives at the assembly.
