The Norwalk High School PTSA invites you to join with us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. We know that you love your children and want the best for them. The Norwalk High School PTSA can help you do that! We all know that children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together. PTSA brings all these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. Our PTSA unit is dedicated to provide information and resources that strengthen these relationships.
"The goal PTSA is to encourage parent, teacher and community involvement in the education, health and welfare of our Children. We are about parents and caregivers who have an interest in the success of our children's educational, emotional and social experiences while attending Norwalk High School. Your support and involvement is the only way we can accomplish these goals together."
"PTSA is for all caregivers: moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles or anyone who wants to get involved. Even parents that work can be involved in PTSA. We would love to have your help in encouraging community involvement in our school. If you have a day off during the week, check with your child’s teacher to see if there is anything you can assist them with; or contact the School office and ask if there is anything they need, that you are willing to assist. Our teachers work hard and have many responsibilities that volunteers can help with to make their job a little easier."
The PTSA is a local PTSA unit representing the children of Norwalk High School. Our Goal is to improve the education and the lives of the students by developing a close relationship with the parents, the school administration, the teachers, and the students. When we work together, we can identify the needs and develop solutions to enhance all aspects of the school environment and help our children to become successful members of our society. PTSA encourages and welcomes communications from our parents. We also understand that it is sometimes difficult to attend PTSA meetings.
Even if you cannot attend the monthly PTSA meetings, please don't hesitate to become involved in your child’s education and wellbeing at Norwalk High School.
Our local PTSA unit is a member of the California State PTSA and the National PTSA. With this association, we are given a means to stay informed and to voice our opinions and concerns regarding policies and legislation that affect the lives and education of our children at both the State and National levels. PTSA also receives support from the California State PTSA and the National PTSA through other means such as distribution of information and materials, leadership education and training, support for program development, and many other services.
